RELOCATION PLAN UPDATE FROM THE CHAIRMAN
After a period of stagnation I am pleased to tell you that we have had a constructive meeting with the proposed acquirers and developers of our land.
We have a clear understanding of the potential issues that could impact the end value.
A key issue is the specification and timing of a link Road between the North Walsham Road and the Buxton Road the cost of which falls on the developers. The developers are seeking some clarification on this point so that we can reach a position of more certainty.
In the meantime with our planning consent in place work is underway to refine the costs and any additional funding sources for the new development at the UEA.
We will keep everyone informed as matters continue to progress over the next couple of months. Steve Henson, Andy Pott and myself are very happy to answer any questions you may have as we continue to drive the project forward with our sole priority being the interests of the Club.
DISCOUNT SCHEME FOR CLUB MEMBERS
We are pleased to announce a discount scheme with Pilch Intersport (part of Jarrolds) for club members. You will receive a letter when you renew your membership to take to the store and exchange for a discount card.

CHARITY CYCLE RIDE TO ALL THE RUGBY CLUBS IN NORFOLK
Alongside over eighty other riders, Mark Loveday and friends are cycling over 300 miles across the highways and byways of Norfolk between 8th-10th September in a bid to raise a life changing amount of money for local, Norfolk based charities. These charities include Wooden Spoon, BUILD, Nelson’s Journey and Special Olympics Norfolk with every penny staying within our wonderful county. Here is their website:
It’s a pretty tough challenge, but one to which they are all committed and have been training hard.
They are visiting every rugby club in the county over the three days and would very much appreciate your support in helping them to make a difference in the lives of people less fortunate than ourselves.
If you feel able to support him (or anyone else on the run) and would like to make a donation, here is the link to their BT Donate website
If you could leave a comment and mention the name of the person you are supporting, it would help them to keep a record of your donation and to keep you in touch. Don’t forget to add the Gift Aid if appropriate.
Mark's final comment reads "In advance, thank you for your time and hopefully for your support. I will keep you in touch as the ride approaches. Together we can make a difference."
