NORWICH REGAIN DAI EVANS TROPHYThe Norfolk Cup Semi Final win 5-8 against Diss means that Norwich regain the Dai Evans Trophy. The late Dai Evans was a Norwich member with close associations to both clubs and equally popular at both. The trophy, donated by Steele's Solicitors, is contested whenever the two sides meet once a season. 
CHARITY FUNDRAISER Lisa Snary is holding a Wooden Spoon charity fundraising event on the afternoon of the England v France game ans she is also looking for sponsorship for the same charity when she and two friends run the London Marathon this year. Members Past and Present v Norwich (amalgam of teams) 11.00am kick off (10:00 meet) This is an open invitation to participate in the Club's reunion day. Please let me know by e-mail if you would like to play and for how long. We have rolling replacements so even if you only want 5 minutes for old time's sake that is fine - but I need to know before the day. Also let me know if you would like lunch (£23.00 per head payable on the day). For those who don't know, we join the main Club lunch after our game and then support the 1st XV as they play Old Cooperians. ANNUAL DINNERIt's time to start organising ourselves for the Annual Dinner which this year is on Thursday 19th April 2018 at the Holiday Inn, Norwich Airport. Tickets are £55 per head in tables of 10 or 12 (other numbers can be accommodated on shared tables). The speaker this year will be Tom Shanklin of Wales and Cardiff Blues, and more recently a TV pundit. Steve Henson has had a great deal of interest in tickets already so if you wish to secure a table, he will need e-mail confirmation ASAP with payment to follow. On Saturday 19th May 2018 Diss are hosting an Anniversary ball to celebrate 60 years of the club.
