NORWICH RUGBY CLUB WOULD LIKE TO WISH ALL OUR MEMBERS AND FRIENDS FROM THE RUGBY COMMUNITY A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR
NORWICH CLUB MEMBERS AMAZING SUPPORT OF WHEELCHAIR RUGBY On behalf of Norwich Rugby Club Vice presidents, Mark Duffy (GSL Dardan) and Mark Loveday (Loveday and Partners) bought and presented a specially made wheelchair to Adam Lambert, a young man who plays for the Norfolk Knights Wheelchair Rugby team. Wheelchair rugby is a fast and furious team sport and Norwich RFC, through our generous VP's are delighted to be able to support the team in their success. The Facebook post from Norfolk Knights reads:
"We were simply blown away by the generosity of Norwich Rugby Club this weekend... Before our match with Woodbridge Wheeled Warriors on Saturday, we were joined by Mark Loveday and Mark Duffy - representing the VPs of Norwich Rugby Club - who presented a brand new rugby wheelchair to our youngest member - Adam Lambert. This not only has a hugely positive impact for Adam (as the chair is custom built to fit his frame) but also supports our aim to bring Wheelchair Rugby to the widest audience possible in Norfolk whilst reducing the barriers to participation. On behalf of all involved with Wheelchair Rugby in Norfolk we'd like to extend a heart-felt thank you to Norwich Rugby Club for this amazing show of support."
