Our annual Harvey's Back to Norwich Day went really well. The President's game was a lot of fun, the lunch was excellent, as usual, and the 1st XV capped it off with a 40:0 win against Harlow. Thanks to everyone that came and made it such a special day.

At Whitlingham Broad

Maxine Amis is the Mum of one of our Under 11 boys. The following post has been authorised by the family and supplied by Jo Offord.

Sadly, Maxine suffered devastating, life-changing injuries in a cycling accident last year and is now paralysed from the neck down. She requires the aid of a ventilator to help her breathe.

There is a significant amount of equipment required to help improve Maxine's quality of life when she comes home to her husband and children later this year. If we can help to raise funds towards this equipment, it will make such a huge difference to her.

Please get your trainers on and come and join us for a morning walk around the beautiful Whitlingham Broad to raise much needed funds for Maxine.

Maxine's favourite colour's are blue and purple so do please feel free to wear these - the more fun the better! There may even be a few photo opportunities along the way!

The entry fee of £5 will be payable on the day. If you feel you would like to contribute more, or if anybody you know would like to sponsor you or even donate, then please feel free to bring this on the day.

Additionally, we will be approaching local businesses and asking them if they would like to contribute towards the event. If you know of anyone who runs their own business, and who you think may like to donate, please contact

walkingformaxine@gmail.com for further details. Many thank.

Start time - 8.30am prompt
Entry Fee - £5
Distance - Maximum of 5 laps of the Broad or as much as you can manage
Dress Code - Wear blue and purple
Families and dogs welcome

There is a Just Giving Page link too.
