We had a wonderful Annual Dinner in the splendid surroundings of  the Open Venue (Gurneys Bank or Barclays Bank -Bank Plain to most of us). The building served as a great new venue and allowed people to pile out into the City afterwards, should they have so inclined, many did!

Well done to Steve Henson for organising it  once again, and to our guests and sponsors. Thanks also to  our guest speaker Jim Hamilton, who kept us entertained and made many friends that night. Fears that he might need to be subtitled like our coach Stewart Cameron, proved groundless, not a trace of a Scottish accent!

That's the season wrapped up now. Follow us on Facebook in case anything of interest pops up during the summer, but we will obviously post things here as well. The last e-newsletter goes out Friday 10th May, if you are not on the mailing list and would like to be (club membership not a prerequisite) email the Communications Officer.

Enjoy the summer.

One final award was made to Bill Quinney, that of Honorary Vice President. This award is made to individuals that have made a significant contribution to the club for at least 10 years. Bill has not only contributed as a sponsor (Quinney & Co Accountants) but also provided payroll services for well over 10 years.
