RUGBY STAY AT HOME CHALLENGE
In these difficult times, some of the players, and the head coach have put a light-hearted video together in support of Norfolk Air Ambulance, requesting donations.
Stay safe, stay at home to help those that are here to help us.
MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN
Today the RFU has deemed the season over. Whilst it’s a huge disappointment that we haven't been able to conclude the season as planned, the RFU will resolve the league outcomes for each club on a fair and balanced basis. We will hear that outcome by the middle of April. As you know, we are top of our league and would have required seven points from our remaining four games to guarantee promotion, so it’s a difficult one to call, but we shouldn’t speculate until the outcome is known.
Without doubt its been some of the best rugby we have seen at Beeston Hyrne in many years and the first team have made our home ground a winning fortress this year.
Congratulations to Lee Parry and his coaching team , Skipper Matt Selby and all of the players for their fantastic commitment and hard work this season. They should all be very proud , as we are, of what they have achieved.
I also want to thank all of our fantastic volunteers, staff and sponsors, without whom , the club simply would not operate and thrive, for their unconditional help and support.
We will continue to update you on all developments at the club over the coming weeks , through the usual channels and as matters unfold.
Meantime, to all of you and your families, stay safe and well during these difficult times.

NORFOLK RFU CANCELS 2020 BIG RUGBY WEEKEND
As expected the event has been cancelled and it will resume again in 2021 with North Walsham hosting it, as planned for this season.
Following the announcement by the PM last evening the Committee has agreed to cancel/postpone the Annual Dinner on Thursday the 7th May 2020 at OPEN. Depending on the progression of COVID-19, we may try to re-arrange for Sept/Oct as this is a significant fund-raiser for the Club.
Apologies for any arrangements or invites you may have arranged but we believe this is the correct course of action in the current climate.
Any concerns or issues, please let me know. Please contact me for any payments already made.
DEATH OF NIGEL HOWES
We were saddened to hear of the death of former 1st XV winger Nigel Howes on 15th March. Nigel played for the Club in the late 1960's & early 70's and was well known to older members. He had been unwell for some time. The condolences from all at the Club are extended to his widow Pat and all his family and friends.
Funeral details as we get them.
