ANDY POTT - RIPIt is with the greatest sadness that we have to report that our dear friend, former President and Club Secretary, Andy Pott passed away peacefully on 29th April after a short illness.
Andy's contribution and service to Norwich Rugby Club was immense and spread back over 20 years, acknowledged by the Club making him an Honorary Member just last year.
In recent times he was most widely known in his role as either President or Secretary but in truth, that was just the tip of the iceberg. The list of jobs that he took on was incredible and his devotion to the Club and to the game of rugby, was absolute. There was no easing off from the jobs, even as his health declined in recent years. The Club owes him an immense debt
It is very sad that we cannot honour him by giving him the send off that he deserves, due to current restrictions but we will be marking his life and service in due course once we are able to.
The sincere sympathy of all at the Club is extended to Helen, who has also been a great servant to the Club, his daughter Alex, son Jonathan and all his family and friends. QUILTER INTERNATIONALS - RFU UPDATE

Please photograph or scan your masterpieces and email them to mark@lovedayandpartners.com NORWICH PROMOTED TO LONDON 1 NORTH
On 3rd April, the RFU confirmed that Norwich will be promoted to London 1 North next season. Having been undefeated all season, this is a deserved result and congratulations are due to Head Coach Lee Parry and the squad. Success relies not just on the players and coaches but the support staff, supporters and of course our generous sponsors. Without our sponsors, we could not function as a Club and we are delighted to have been able to repay their faith in us with this promotion. Celebrations are on hold because of the current crisis, but we are sure that everyone will be celebrating at home and looking forward to the considerable that the League above poses. Stay at home, stay safe and dream of happier days when we return to rugby.
