A FEW WORDS FROM THE PRESIDENT
I thought I would give you an update on a couple of issues at the Club. Firstly however, despite last Saturday s defeat to Old Cooperians and whilst still a long way to go I think we can all be pleased with our current league position and the commitment we are seeing from the players and the coaches at both training and on the pitch. We have a tough home game this Saturday but if we can get as many supporters behind the team as we can we have every chance of getting back to a winning trend.
Turning to other matters, we have bitten the bullet and you will see the entrance road resurfaced during the next couple of weeks. The potholes are getting worse and we need to get the work done in the interests of safety and damage limitation.
Also you will be aware that the grass growth has got beyond us this year, rest assured our committed President and grounds man Graham Hilton has a plan and we should have the matter resolved very soon.
Finally the relocation plans continue to move forward albeit slower than we had hoped. Our planning hearing for Colney lane is set for November 9th, meanwhile please add your support for the scheme through the SNDC planning portal as requested using the link sent to you by Andy Pott last month. Our fingers for a positive outcome are very firmly crossed.
