RIP STEVE READ
It is with the greatest sadness that we have to announce the death of Steve Read after a long illness bravely borne. Steve was well known within the cricket and rugby fraternities having been an enthusiastic player of both games and playing at Norwich as part of the Stags team. Steve was also a great supporter and sponsor of the club through his business Read Brothers Ltd.
The deepest sympathy of everyone at the club is extended to Isobel and all of Steve's family and friends. He will be sorely missed.
EXTRACTS FROM THE CAMPION GAME
Pro photographer/videographer Matthew Potter, who used to play in our youth sides, took some video at the Campion game that he cut into a cool few minutes of footage. Thanks Matthew.

FROM THE CHAIRMAN
‘To All age group Coaches, Administrators, First Aiders, Referees and other Volunteers
Play It Safe Course- Monday 16th January 2017 - 7.00-10.00pm @ Norwich Rugby Football Club
Emma Cameron and Vicky Register have put a considerable amount of time and effort in to organising this course at Norwich Rugby Club which is a real coup for us.
They are also prepared to support a straightforward enrolment process for everyone. You will no doubt have received an email.
The importance of attending the ‘Play It Safe course’ by all age group Coaches, Administrators, First Aiders, Referees and other Volunteers cannot be over stated.
Managing the safety of our Mini and Youth Players is top of the RFU Agenda and is also fundamental to us achieving the RFU Accreditation ‘ Kite mark’.
The Club is committed to giving you all the opportunity to develop your own skills in the very valued roles that you play at the Club. We are also committed to investing in that development. We do understand and very much recognise the amount of free time and effort you put in on a regular basis to your roles and if you can pledge just a little more for this course it will be greatly appreciated. ‘
