Joint Coaching session with Crusaders

Joint Coaching session with Crusaders

Thanks go to Crusaders for the invite to share in a training session and have a ‘little friendly’ match afterwards.

Well those guys put in a very impressive training session. The coaches were exhausted just watching it, but our boys dug deep kept up and gave an excellent account of themselves. We welcomed two new boys into the squad Lewis and Louis, who played with determination, character and 100% commitment.

Our pack performed very well, driving hard and winning a fair few scrums. Centres made some excellent plays and were particularly strong going forwards and carrying the ball into contact. Our wings needed to be brought more into the game, giving us an opportunity to really build on playing the full width of the pitch.

Jayden out on the right wing made a couple of valiant attempts to breakthrough a very focused Crusaders defence. Charlie was awarded the Coaches player of the match for his consistent attempts to drive the ball forward, support to his teammates and keeping his focus for the entire game - but the day belonged to Crusaders, with a narrow victory.
