Minis Reports from Lakenham Festival

Under 7 report

The Under 7's did the club proud this week at the festival.  The children ignored the rain and remembered everything we had done in training.  Across both teams we saw strong running, superb support play, some fantastic ball-handling skills and incredible tackles.  There was a good standard from all the teams we played against, but our players never looked second best.  Norwich claimed the play of the day running in from their own try line, with every player involved in the move, passing and receiving on the run - just brilliant to watch.  Well done guys.

Under 10 report

This weekend saw the u10's represent NRFC at two events.

The Prima Cup at Diss, allowed teams to win by the final match score and by gaining points for displaying the core RFU values. We will know on Wednesday how we did, once our performance has been judged !
The Lakenham Festival showed encouraging play throughout the 4 games. The team won 2 lost 2, Scoring 14 tries over all.
Well done everyone. Back to training this week.
Jules Waterman.
