Chris Drohan, Director of Women's & Girl's rugby
chrisdrohan@hotmail.co.ukIn September 2018 our fledgling girls section, 'The Wildcats' was launched. We had a handful of girls in each of the U12s, U14s, U16s and U18s age groups, some with experience and some who were very new to the game.
Now six years on we have over 60 registered players spread across the three age groups, and many players who have represented Eastern Counties and some who have progressed further along their rugby pathway.
We are a friendly and welcoming club and we embody the RFU core values of TREDS: Teamwork. Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship. Alongside our rugby training and matches we have a vibrant social side, enjoying many off pitch activities and we are looking to organise a tour in 2024/25 to replicate the success of our 2023 tour.
If you would like to know more we always welcome new players, no experience necessary, so either just turn up at the club or contact us. We train on Tuesday evenings and Sunday mornings. For more information please find us on Facebook and Instagram @Norwich.Wildcats.
Rugby is a sport for everybody so why not give it a go and get involved.
